Waves Hawaii Surf School

Waves Hawaii Surf School is a small family-run surf school in Kihei, on Maui's south shore, Hawaii. It has worked at Kalama Park for 25 years and presents itself as one of the most private schools in Kihei and Wailea.

It offers group, semi-private and private lessons, surf camps, coaching and a baby surf lesson, which it says is unique to the school. It also runs surf sessions with a local and paddle tours. No age limit is set.

Instructors are hand-picked and trained in safety, CPR and first aid. The school says it was featured in the 2026-2027 Four Seasons concierge guide.
