Air Padre Kiteboarding

Air Padre Kiteboarding is a kiteboarding school based in Port Isabel, across from South Padre Island, Texas. It is run by Captain Jeff, who states more than 20 years of experience and personally leads every lesson.

Lessons run from a small yacht used as a floating base on the Laguna Madre, which gives access to steadier wind away from the crowds and allows downwinders. Students are coached through two-way radio helmets.

Lesson gear can be rented (premium setup $75, elite setup $175 according to the site). When the wind is light, an electric foil (eFoil) session is possible, and an AI-powered auto-tracking video service is offered.
