Prokite South Padre

Prokite South Padre is a kiteboarding school and shop on South Padre Island, on the Texas Gulf coast. Its website states the shop has been open since 2012 and that lessons run every day of the year.

The school teaches kiteboarding and wing foiling, and also lists hydrofoil riding, tow-in surfing, wing skate, kite buggy and wakeboarding. Lessons take place in flat water on the lagoon with experienced coaches.

The shop sells new and used gear: kites and bars, boards, harnesses, accessories, spare parts and repair materials, wings and foils, wetsuits, impact vests and apparel. The team also gives advice on equipment, wind reports and riding locations, and offers water or beach rescue services.
