Kitesurfing Dakhla

Kitesurfing Dakhla is a mobile kitesurf school: it has no fixed base on the lagoon. The instructors pick students up at their hotel and drive them to whichever spot suits the day's conditions. The business is run by Lahcen Ouazzan, and the team featured on the site is made up of Simo, Marouan and Othmane. Instructors are advertised as IKO certified and speak several languages.

Lessons are given privately — one instructor per student, with the sessions filmed — or semi-privately, capped at two students, “the maximum number of kites an instructor can control at the same time”. For independent riders the school rents full gear, kite only or board only, with optional insurance; a valid IKO Level 3 or equivalent proof of competency is required, and gear can be swapped during the day if conditions change, subject to availability.

The school also sells a seven-day all-inclusive package for a maximum of two guests, combining lessons or gear, accommodation in a private room, breakfast and transfers, together with small-group trips to the Secret Spot, the White Dune and the oyster farm, reserved for independent kiters.

Published hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00. The school publishes no season and no closing period, so the activity months field has been left empty.
