Clube do Vento
SMPW Quadra 5 (Lago Paranoá, acesso pelo portão exclusivo), Brasília · Distrito Federal · Brazil
School Presentation
Clube do Vento was founded in 2004 by windsurfer James Radde in Brasília. It first developed resale of water sports equipment across Brazil, then added stand up paddle and kitesurf in 2009, and more recently wing foil. According to its website, it has been based since March 2011 on the shore of Lake Paranoá, with a large green area, a sandy beach, changing rooms and lockers.
The club offers kitesurf, windsurf, SUP and, since 2021, wing foil lessons, with all the necessary equipment. For wing foil it lists Duotone, Cabrinha and Go Wing. The sailing area in front of the club is described as very safe; by SUP you can paddle to the JK Bridge or the Pontão do Lago Sul in a few minutes. An online shop sells kites, boards, harnesses, wings and accessories for kitesurf, windsurf, SUP and wing foil.
Note: the website mentions the premises of the Clube Naval de Brasília, while the Google listing shows Clube Adepol; the exact address should be confirmed before visiting.
