School Presentation

Katanka is a water sports club on Lake Paranoá in Brasília, specialising in wind and paddle sports. Its website presents lessons in windsurf (including kids), windfoil, wingfoil, hydrofoil and sailing (children and adults), as well as equipment rental (SUP, kayak, water bike, windsurf).

The wingfoil school is equipped with imported Starboard boards, foils and wings; the introductory course goes from controlling the board flying on a hydrofoil, to sailing the wing without foil, then the complete wing + foil setup. Single lessons are available from beginner to improver level.

Instructor Marcello Morrone is presented as a CBVela-certified instructor (Brazilian Sailing Confederation), a windsurf instructor since 1991 and a Brazilian windsurf champion. The club also offers day "lounge" formulas. Online booking.
