Dakhla Attitude is the oldest and largest base of the Dakhla Hospitality Group, set on Dragon Beach at the foot of the dune, on the western shore of the Dakhla lagoon. The camp combines a bungalow hotel in six categories — VIP, Dragon Camp, Dragon Camp Premium, WindHunter, WindHunter Premium and Speed Spot — with a year-round watersports centre opening straight onto the water.
That centre is one of the four sites of Dakhla's single Duotone Pro Center, and the best stocked of the four. The published fleet: 60 Duotone kites from 3 to 17 m, 40 twintips and surfboards from 132 to 165 cm, 8 Duotone wings, 6 Fanatic wing foil boards and 12 Fanatic SUPs, plus the full ION accessory range (harnesses, wetsuits, helmets). Instructors are IKO and IWO certified. The spot is divided into separate teaching and riding zones, two Zodiacs with certified safety assistants cover the water, and a briefing is held every day at 11 am in front of the centre.
On site: storage for your own gear, two air compressors, freshwater rinse tanks, showers, changing rooms and lockers, a full repair workshop for kites and windsurf gear (usually under 24 hours), a surf shop and a beach bar facing Dragon Beach. The hotel adds wakeboarding and wakefoiling, a spa, padel courts, a fitness room, a kids club and desert excursions. The prevailing wind is northerly, which makes it side shore on Dragon Beach; forecasts are posted every other day on information boards around the camp.
Duotone Pro Center rates, in Moroccan dirhams, per person. They are published without a reference year, but with season windows dated to the day.
Rate seasons: high from 14 March to 30 June, 25 July to 27 August, 5 September to 8 November and 23 December to 4 January; mid from 1 February to 13 March, 1 to 24 July, 28 August to 4 September and 9 to 23 November; low from 5 to 31 January and 24 November to 22 December. In low season, hours lost to a lack of wind are refunded.
The watersports centre is open all year: 9 am to 6 pm in winter (November to March), 9 am to 8 pm the rest of the year. The safety team is on the water from 9 am to 6 pm in winter and from 10 am to 7 pm the rest of the year; outside those hours the boat stays beached and ready to launch.
Registration at the centre's reception is compulsory after checking into the hotel, with a daily briefing at 11 am. Thirty minutes before closing, three sound signals call rental gear back in. Hotel administrative reception: 9 am-1 pm and 2 pm-6 pm.
