F4 ZOO Windsurfing Bol

F4 - ZOO is a windsurfing, wing and paddleboard school and rental centre in Bol, on the island of Brač, in the bay behind the Zlatni Rat cape. It is run by the Czech company F4, s.r.o. According to its website, the mistral blows steadily and builds up during the day: mornings suit beginners and afternoons suit advanced windsurfers, on flat water.

The school offers windsurfing lessons (introductory lessons and private lessons for advanced riders), wing and windfoil courses, and an introduction to paddleboarding and kayaking. The team states more than 20 years of experience, lessons tailored to each rider's level, and a rescue boat always ready to intervene.

Rental equipment covers every level: 30 BIC sets (boards of 164 to 240 litres) with 3.0 to 5.0 m² sails for beginners, Duotone boards (95 to 165 litres) with Duotone and Neilpryde sails (3.7 to 8.0 m²) for advanced riders, and kids' gear from age 8 (Duotone Ripper 110-litre boards, 1.5 to 3.6 m² sails). Duotone, Prolimit and Mystic harnesses, vests and wetsuits are available, as well as wing and windfoil gear, paddleboards and kayaks.
