Povlja is a small village on the northeast coast of the island of Brac, facing the Brac Channel. This spot is exposed to northeast winds (Bora) which can be very powerful, especially in winter. The spot is suited to advanced riders due to the Bora gusts which can be violent and irregular. The water remains relatively flat in the sheltered bay.
