Meltemi Kiteclub is a VDWS-certified kitesurf school on Fanes beach, in the south-west of Rhodes, at the Delfini hotel. The website describes constant side-shore wind, a fine sand beach and a small stand-up area.
VDWS-licensed instructors teach in German and English, with at most 3 students per instructor and radio coaching. Full equipment and safety gear are included in the course price; regular courses are open to teenagers from about 12, younger children take private one-to-one lessons. Wing foil lessons, rental and storage are also offered.
The 2026 equipment is from Duotone, Flysurfer and Levitaz (wing and hydrofoil). The centre has a compressor, a grass area for kites, fresh-water showers, toilets, a restaurant and a beach bar, plus a kite and yoga camp.
