Fanes is a kitesurfing spot on the west coast of Rhodes, just north of Kalavarda. This pebble and sand beach offers good NW/W Meltemi conditions side-onshore. Fanes is a quiet spot, less known than the Ixia/Ialissos area, with a preserved local atmosphere. Fanes village is small and authentic, perfect for riders looking to escape the tourist crowds while benefiting from the reliable west coast Meltemi.
