School Presentation
Abel Lago Watersports is the water sports school of Abel Lago, a kitesurf world champion, on Area Maior beach at Louro (municipality of Muros), on the Muros-Noia estuary. According to the school, the beach, with a lagoon and sandy bottoms, offers excellent surf and kitesurf conditions in spring, summer and autumn; the school has a second rental point on San Francisco beach, also at Louro.
It offers surf lessons (1.5 hours, maximum six students per instructor, insurance included), kitesurf for all levels, paddle surf (tours of the estuary or SUP in the waves), wingfoil and windsurf, with qualified instructors and lessons possible in six languages (Spanish, English, French, Italian, German, Portuguese); Guillermo Carracedo, Spanish surf champion, is part of the team. It rents surf, kitesurf, paddle, wetsuits, bodyboards and kayaks, and offers accommodation near the school and one-week course and stay deals.
