Arealonga Surf Club

Arealonga Surf Club is a surf club and school on As Furnas beach, in Xuño (Porto do Son), in the Barbanza area of Galicia. The club has been teaching surfing since 1992 and presents itself as a keeper of an "old school" way of teaching: reading waves, understanding tides and respecting the environment rather than chasing technical perfection.

The school is affiliated with the Galician Surf Federation (FGS). It offers practical lessons all year, environmental education days, support for a competition team and equipment rental. The website lists levels, multi-day passes and a rental page.

The club's headquarters are in Porto do Son (C/ Iglesia s/n, 15970); lessons take place on As Furnas beach.
