The Cercle Nautique des Corbières is the sailing club of the Port Mahon water sports centre in Sigean, on the Bages-Sigean lagoon, in the heart of the Narbonnaise Regional Nature Park. Accredited as an École Française de Voile by the French Sailing Federation (FFVoile), the school welcomes individuals, schools, groups and people with disabilities. Thomas's team is made up of state-qualified and federation instructors, all trained in first aid.
Wingfoiling is taught from age 12: courses of 3 or 5 two-hour sessions during the Easter, summer and autumn school holidays, plus private or duo lessons during the season, in wingfoil as well as windfoil. Students first learn to handle the wing on suitable boards, then move on to lifting off on the foil, using a flight simulator; wetsuits and helmets are provided. The water is monitored during courses and rentals.
The club also runs windsurfing, catamaran, funboat and under-7 courses, rents out windsurfers, catamarans, kayaks and paddleboards, and organises guided trips to the Île de l'Aute, a leisure section and a windsurf racing team. The centre has changing rooms, showers, parking and a picnic area. It also hosts the Tendance Kite school, which gives the kitesurfing lessons there.
