School Presentation
Geckos Surf & Sup School is a water sports school in the Rías Baixas, founded in summer 2015 and initially specialised in surfing and stand up paddle. It also offers windsurf and kayak lessons and rentals and, on request, other activities such as kitesurfing or sailing.
Paddle, windsurf and kayak lessons are given at Coroso beach in Ribeira, on the sheltered Ria de Arousa, which is ideal for beginners (the school is on the caravan car park opposite the beach access). Surf lessons take place at O Vilar and A Ladeira beaches in Corrubedo. Multi-sport activities for children, guided paddle tours and group, school, birthday and stag-party sessions are also offered.
Rental includes foam, epoxy or fibreglass surfboards from 5'0 to 9'0, rigid paddle boards and O'Neill wetsuits.

Rental prices on the website (year not stated): foam surfboard EUR 15 for 2 h, EUR 20 half day, EUR 30 full day; foam board and wetsuit EUR 20 / 25 / 35; fibreglass board EUR 20 / 25 / 35; wetsuit only EUR 10 / 15 / 20. Paddle (board and paddle): EUR 8 for half an hour, EUR 12 per hour, EUR 30 half day, EUR 50 full day.
