AnnaKite is a small independent kitesurf school based at the harbour of Les Cabanes de Fleury, at the mouth of the Aude river, between Fleury (Aude) and Vendres (Hérault). Students get their equipment at the harbour, then go out by boat to the riding area, offshore, about a hundred metres from the coast.
The school only offers so-called premium lessons for one or two people, timed for the best wind of the day. The 3-hour sessions are supervised from the safety boat and each student has a radio built into the helmet. All equipment is provided: 4/3 wetsuit, buoyancy aid, harness, helmet, booties, and kites suited to children, light riders, strong wind or light wind. The programme runs from safety drills and kite control to body dragging, water starts, riding upwind and first jumps. Students must be able to swim and take out a French Sailing Federation membership (Coach Kiteboard pass).
AnnaKite also runs stand-up paddle trips at sea, escorted by the safety boat, and yoga classes, outdoors on the beaches of Les Cabanes de Fleury and Le Chichoulet or indoors around Béziers.

All equipment is provided. French Sailing Federation membership is compulsory for kitesurfing: Coach Kiteboard pass at €13.50 for one year or €5 for one day.
Kitesurf lessons by booking, in three 3-hour slots: 9 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 4 pm and 4 pm to 7 pm. Times may change depending on demand and wind.
