CCBoardCenter is a surf school and surf shop in Vila Nova de Milfontes, inside the Southwest Alentejo Natural Park. The school has been running in Milfontes for more than ten years and extends a surf shop that has been open in Lisbon for over twenty years.
It is certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (FPS) and all instructors are accredited. Lessons run in small groups (6 to 7 students per instructor at most), from complete beginners to advanced surfers, with a particular focus on children. Each lesson lasts a morning or an afternoon, including at least 1.5 hours in the water, after a safety and technique briefing and a warm-up.
Equipment is included (foam board with fins, leash, wax, wetsuit, insurance). The school also offers equipment rental, a surf and yoga camp, and a shop, online and in store, with surfboards, wetsuits, accessories, bodyboards, skateboards, SUP and snowboards.
