School Presentation
The Escuela Cántabra de Surf, founded in 1991 on Somo beach (Cantabria) by David "Capi" García, Spanish and Cantabrian surf champion, presents itself as the first surf school in Spain. It sits right on the seafront, with showers, changing rooms, lockers and rental equipment.
The school offers surf lessons for all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced, competition), kids' lessons, stand-up paddle, bodyboard, skate and surfskate, plus surf camps for minors and adults all year round, with accommodation in Somo (Surf House, cabins, hostel).
A surf shop, surf, SUP, bodyboard and skate rental, and seasonal offers complete the picture.
