Kite Academy Cruise

Kite Academy Cruise (Isle of Roses Kite School) runs one-week kitesurf courses aboard a catamaran on the Costa Smeralda, with a base in the port of Portisco (municipality of Olbia), 20 minutes from the airport. The catamaran, a four-cabin Bali 4.3 sleeping up to 12 people, goes looking for wind off the coves of the coast and the La Maddalena archipelago; the school also gives daily lessons on Lake Garda at Malcesine.

Lessons follow IKO standards, with equipment provided, a radio in the helmet, support by tender or e-foil, and camera or drone videos reviewed with the instructor; kite sessions are unlimited during the stay, and the e-foil is used when there is no wind. Outside cruises, the school sells kitesurf lessons (minimum 2 hours), e-foil lessons and rentals and gift vouchers.
