Extreme Sail ASD

Extreme Sail ASD is a sailing and windsurf school on Marinella beach, in the Gulf of Marinella, about 3 km from Porto Rotondo and 20 minutes from Olbia Costa Smeralda airport. It has been run since 2000 by Roberto Aversano, a sailor born in La Maddalena.

The school offers windsurfing (first lesson with 20 minutes of theory on land, then a water trial and five lessons), catamaran and Laser sailing, and more recently wingfoil. Courses are for children, teenagers and adults of every level, with an instructor always alongside, and run every day during the school's operating period, adapted to the weather conditions.

Roberto Aversano is listed as a Federazione Italiana Vela sailing instructor and a VDWS windsurf instructor, with lifeguard and first-aid certifications. The website also presents a non-stop circumnavigation of Sardinia by catamaran and an excursion catamaran, Anfalù.
