Orza Scuola Vela - Base Porto Pollo

Orza Scuola Vela is an Italian sailing school (Centro Velico Orza S.R.L. Sportiva Dilettantistica, registered with CONI and affiliated with UISP and FIV) headquartered in Monza, with bases on Lake Como, in Liguria and in Sardinia. The Sardinian base is at Porto Pollo, in the windy bay of Palau.

At Porto Pollo the school runs windsurf courses on three levels (base, improvement, funboard) following the Italian Sailing Federation method, with theory, simulator and on-water practice; wing foil courses for adults and under-18s, with full equipment, accommodation at the base (six-bed studios) and transfer from Porto Pollo; dinghy, cabin boat, skiff and foil (Waszp) courses; as well as parent-and-child sailing stays and school trips.

The fully renovated base has dormitories with bathrooms, kitchen, classroom, equipment room, terrace and garden, a short walk from the beach. For school trips the website cites April, May, June, September and October; the Porto Pollo base also reopens at Easter.
