The Amicale de Voile du Coulet (AMI Coulet, also known as A-V-C) is a Saint-Prex association based at the Coulet harbour, on the Vaud shore of Lake Geneva between Morges and Rolle. Built on friendship and mutual help, it pools the equipment, knowledge and experience of its members — 142 in spring 2025, families included — and publishes readings from its own wind station.
It is not a school: the club provides its members with dinghies, catamarans, windsurf boards, paddleboards and kayaks, plus a sailing boat and a motorboat at Taillecou harbour. The basic membership explicitly covers sailing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling, paddleboarding and kayaking, and kitesurfers are well represented: the Association romande de kitesurf lists the Amicale among its kite clubs, members can join that association free of charge (and take out kitesurf insurance through it), and the club's photo gallery records "Kite Happy Hours" and kitefoil sessions at Le Coulet.
Riding is unsupervised: everyone goes out at their own risk, within a zone between Taillecou harbour and the Saint-Prex radio beacon, checking in and out for every session. Kitesurfers must hold the specific third-party liability insurance that is compulsory in Switzerland. During the season members meet once a week for an evening of sailing or racing; the club also organises open days, regattas, exchanges with other clubs and a sailing course.

Membership of the Association romande de kitesurf is free for club members. Members who help maintain the equipment can get a discount on their fee.
