Snowkite

Snowkite spot on frozen Lac Témiscouata, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region. Lac Témiscouata is a large elongated lake (40 km long) located in the valley of the same name, near the New Brunswick border.

The frozen lake offers considerable riding surface, oriented northeast-southwest. Dominant northwest winds are channeled by the valley and lake corridor. Parc national du Lac-Témiscouata borders the east shore. Reliable winter conditions with good ice cover from January to March. A recognized snowkite destination in Quebec.
