<![CDATA[Hazards Beach is a kitesurfing spot located in Freycinet National Park on the east coast of Tasmania. This wild beach is nestled at the foot of the Hazards, the famous pink granite mountains that give the beach its name. It is one of the most spectacular settings for kitesurfing in Tasmania. The prevailing wind comes from the northwest in summer. The beach is exposed to ocean waves and offers wave riding conditions. Access requires a hike from Coles Bay, making the spot very pristine and uncrowded. The spot is reserved for advanced riders due to total remoteness (foot access only), lack of services, and wave conditions. The water is cold. A thick wetsuit and complete self-sufficiency are required. National park entry is paid.]]>
