It is a major seaside town at the entrance to the Mornington Peninsula, with a long sandy beach. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west in summer. The bay offers flat water to small chop conditions. The water is shallow with a sandy bottom. The beach is long and offers good space. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediates. The water is cold, a wetsuit is required. Frankston has all the amenities of a large suburban town. Parking and public transport available.]]>
