<![CDATA[Woolamai Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on Phillip Island in Victoria. It is the island's most well-known surf beach, famous for its powerful waves and spectacular cliffs. The beach is regularly ranked among the most dangerous in Victoria due to its violent currents. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west in summer. Waves are powerful and consistent, fed by Southern Ocean swells. The bottom is sandy but rip currents are extremely strong and dangerous. The spot is reserved for expert riders only. The currents are among the most dangerous in Victoria. The water is cold, a thick wetsuit is mandatory. The beach is patrolled in summer but conditions remain demanding. Buddy sailing is imperative.]]>
