Overview

Foots Safety Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, on Western Port Bay. The spot offers sailing conditions in the sheltered waters of the bay. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west in summer. Western Port Bay offers calm conditions with little swell. The water is shallow with a sandy bottom. Tides are significant and influence conditions. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediates. The water is cold, thick wetsuit required. Parking available. Safety Beach is a quiet coastal village on the peninsula.
