Overview

Areia Vermelha is a sandbar that emerges at low tide off João Pessoa, in the state of Paraiba. The southeast trade winds blow 15 to 25 knots between July and February. This unique spot offers shallow waters and a turquoise body of water, suitable for intermediate riders. Conditions vary greatly with the tides, so it is essential to check tide times before sailing.
