Kitesurf spot on the south shore of Lac Saint-Louis, in the Châteauguay area. The spot faces northwest with good fetch across the lake. It's an interesting alternative to the north shore spots (Pointe-Claire, Baie de Valois) when the wind comes from the northwest. Access is from Châteauguay's riverside park. The water offers moderate chop conditions with sandy to muddy bottom.

Lac Saint-Louis (widening of St. Lawrence River), freshwater. Moderate chop in west/northwest wind. Sandy to muddy bottom, progressive depth. Water reaching 20-24°C in July-August. River current noticeable near the main channel. Shared navigation area.
Commercial shipping channel nearby — do not cross the channel. St. Lawrence River current. Frequent summer thunderstorms. Muddy bottom making exit difficult in some spots. Active recreational boating.
