Overview
Gra Lygia is a small coastal village on Crete's south coast, just west of Ierapetra. Located in the Ierapetra isthmus influence zone, the spot benefits from the same Venturi effect that channels and accelerates the Meltemi through the island's narrowest point.
Like Ierapetra, wind blows offshore from N/NNE towards the Libyan Sea. Conditions are technical and reserved for experienced riders who master upwind riding.
