Overview

Sand Island State Park is a kitesurf spot located in the port of Honolulu on Oahu. This park offers access to a relatively sheltered body of water, with wind conditions provided by the northeast trade winds. The spot is popular with local riders for its proximity to the city and its flat water conditions in the lagoon. Intermediate level is required due to maritime traffic in the port area and possible currents.
