Virginia Beach 88th Street is a kitesurfing spot located on the Atlantic coast of Virginia Beach, Virginia. This beach section offers a wide sandy area for kite launching and landing. Prevailing northeast winds in autumn and winter bring ideal side-shore conditions, with chop and sometimes waves. In summer, south/southwest thermal breezes provide regular sessions. The spot is suited for intermediate and advanced riders due to the shore break and coastal currents. Access is easy with parking near the beach.
