Overview

Virginia Beach 45th Street is a kitesurfing spot in the northern part of the Virginia Beach oceanfront, away from the boardwalk and main tourist area. This beach section is less crowded and offers more space for kitesurfing. The east-facing beach provides good exposure to Atlantic swells and northeast winds. It's a preferred spot for the local kite community as restrictions are less strict than to the south near the boardwalk.
