Uig Bay (Adroil Sands) on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis is an immense white sand beach in a spectacular setting. The west-facing bay receives the full force of the Atlantic with quality waves and constant wind. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Hebrides, famous for the discovery of the Lewis chess pieces.
