Sables d'Or les Pins is a vast sandy beach between Cap Fréhel and Cap d'Erquy, in a natural pine forest setting — one of the most beautiful beaches of the Côtes d'Armor. KiteCenter22 (Erquy) uses this beach for lessons when NE wind is dominant, as an alternative to Caroual. The Centre Nautique de Fréhel offers a wide range of water sports on site (catamaran, windsurfing, wingfoil, kayak, paddle). Large open space, good for learning.
The spot works year-round: 26 rideable days a month on average, at 16 °C. It peaks in May, with 347 hours of usable wind.

KiteCenter22 uses this spot specifically when NE wind dominates — NE is the ideal direction here. NW also works (existing wind rose). Large beach with good space, well protected from westerly swell by Cap Fréhel headland.
Large beach with good space. Cohabitation with swimmers in summer. Check local bylaws and Centre Nautique for current kite zones and authorised areas. NW: wind disrupted at certain tides — prefer mid to low tide for more regular conditions.
