Flat water spot in Mistral (onshore) — dominant reference wind. Summer W thermal side-onshore. Possible in S but offshore (dangerous without safety boat). Around 30+ knots possible in Mistral: memorable sessions!

Mistral N/NNW: onshore, reference wind — ideal flat water. Wind often powerful and gusty. W (summer thermal): side-onshore, works well. S: OFFSHORE — dangerous without safety boat. Also possible for surfkite and foil.
