Sotavento is a legendary spot discovered in the 70s. Since then, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and now wing foiling have developed strongly there. Fuerteventura is a rather desert-like island and the Jandia beach is long and magnificent. If you have a strong heart, try the speed run at 50cm from the beach, kilometers of guaranteed pleasure! However, when the wind picks up, it's not very "family friendly".
Wind generally N-NE side-off with a kite/windsurf/wing center and rescue service on site (Rene Egli).
Irregular wind but very rideable on the Atlantic. During high tide coefficients and for a few days, a huge lagoon forms along the entire beach, an experience to live!
