Salty Swamis

Salty Swamis is a café, boutique surf shop and gallery on Galle Road in Hikkaduwa, in front of the town's main surf break. It has a second location in Arugam Bay, open from May to October, and was founded by two brothers with a passion for surf, nature and coffee.

The surf section offers a selection of handcrafted boards and hand-picked gear alongside clothing, headgear and goods by local makers, also sold online. The café serves local coffee and tea and a modern menu.

Hikkaduwa: open all year, 8 am to 4 pm (kitchen closes at 3 pm). Arugam Bay: 6 am to 11 pm, May to October.
