Maroc Rider Surf Shop — Socrate

Maroc Rider is the longest-established boardsports name in Casablanca: a surf shop that doubles as a skate shop, backed by a Moroccan import and distribution arm that represents several boardsports brands across the country. The branch known as « Socrate » is its main address, on Boulevard Yaâcoub Al Mansour, in the west of the city.

The shop covers the three disciplines the brand claims — surf, bodyboard and skate: boards, wetsuits and water accessories on one side, decks, bearings and shoes on the other. The brands listed on its official page are Volcom, Globe, Nixon, Sooruz, Oxbow and Custom X, with Chilli, FarKing and QCD added in its own posts. Only Sooruz appears in this directory's brand referential.

The company also announces a second Casablanca shop, known as « Lyautey », at number 3 on the corner of Rue Aït Ourir and Rue Bougainville, behind the Lycée Lyautey. Its marocrider.com domain is no longer live: the Facebook page, followed by more than 44,000 people, is now its only online window.
