MOORS Jack Beach Surf Shop

MOORS Jack Beach Surf Shop is the reference shop at Jack Beach, Casablanca's teaching beach, in the Abed subdivision at Tamaris, in the commune of Dar Bouazza. Nine surf outfits share that beach, and this is where they and their pupils find their gear. The shop advertises three trades rather than retail alone — it sells, rents and repairs surfboards and bodyboards — alongside clothing, shoes and skate decks.

It trades under the name of MOORS, the first Moroccan surf brand, launched in 2011 by Camile Said-Eddine, a native of Casablanca, and distributed in Europe, Asia and Hawaii. The brand opened its own showroom at Tamraght, near Taghazout, in December 2020 and supplies several surf shops around the country; Jack Beach is its Casablanca foothold.

The shop belongs to the life of the beach rather than to a high street: it co-organised the Jack Beach Pro AM in July 2017 with the Surf Globe School, and the Ain Diab schools list it among their partner outlets. Its advertised opening follows the sun rather than the clock, from 10 am until dusk — beach-shop practice. Its recent activity is not documented online, so a phone call before travelling is advisable.
