Poseidon Paddle & Surf is a watersports shop in Santa Monica, steps from the pier. It sells and rents stand up paddle, surf and foil gear, and also teaches surf and stand up paddle lessons.
The board range covers surfboards (shortboards, longboards and Poseidon boards), stand up paddleboards (Starboard, Naish, NSP) and foil boards, along with foil kits and wings, wing foil wings, parawings, kitesurf kites and electric-assist foil drives. The shop also stocks paddles, leashes, fins, wetsuits and roof racks, and repairs boards.
Surf lessons last an hour and a half, private or in small groups, with board and wetsuit included; hot showers and coffee are available after the session. The shop says it is open every day of the year.
