Surf Maroc Store

The Surf Maroc Store is Surf Maroc's shop and hire centre, on Taghazout's main street above the Taghazout Villa guesthouse, facing the Atlantic. Its door states its three jobs — store, rental, surf school — and it opened as Taghazout's first official Rip Curl store. It is today one of the brand's authorised resellers in Morocco.

On the retail side it carries the in-house Surf Maroc collection, Rip Curl wetsuits and clothing, Hurley clothing, Lost and Cabianca surfboards, FCS fins, leashes and deck grips, wax, zinc, sunglasses, a vintage boutique and the oversized straw hats the place is known for. The shop advertises prices around 5% below European levels and a 15% VAT refund on purchases over 2,000 MAD.

On the rental side a multilingual team fits and sets up gear for the length of a stay: surfboards, stand up paddle boards, wetsuits, skateboards and bikes. The hire quiver includes Torq, Surftech and NSP boards and longboards hand-shaped by Fahd in Tamraght, alongside a line of high-performance Firewire boards reserved for advanced surfers. The store is also where excursions, airport transfers, guiding days and surf lessons are booked.

Every day from 9 am to 8 pm.

Hours published by Rip Curl Morocco in its list of authorised resellers. The shop's own door plaque reads "Store / Rental / Surf school — Open 7 days a week" in a photo Surf Maroc published in 2019; a closing time is printed on it but is not legible. The daily hours may have moved since, the seven-days-a-week part has not.
