School Presentation
Surf Berbere is one of the oldest names in Taghazout, set right on the seafront facing Hash Point, in the heart of the fishing village. It combines a surf school, a camp and around twenty rental apartments, all on the seafront in the centre of town: studios, two- and three-bedroom flats, the camp apartments and the Bouad House, whose penthouse looks out over the bay.
Lessons and guiding run by minibus, two sessions a day depending on conditions, across the breaks of the bay and as far as Tamri and Imsouane. Daily yoga classes are held in an open-air waterfront studio. The outfit also runs a twelve-week instructor course leading to the ISA Level 1 qualification, and hosts university surf club trips.
Surf Berbere additionally operates a cafe-restaurant and a surf shop in the village. The school teaches surfing only: no kitesurfing, no wing.
