Sweetwater Surf Shop

Sweetwater Surf Shop was established in 1976 in downtown Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, a block from the town's best surf break, and is still run by a family of long-time locals.

It claims one of the East Coast's biggest selections of surfboards and wetsuits, along with apparel, accessories and an online store. The shop also rents boards, wetsuits and bikes.

It is linked to Sweetwater Surf School, which offers beginner and advanced camps, private lessons and a surf and yoga trip to Costa Rica.

Summer (May-September): Monday-Saturday 9 am-9 pm, Sunday 10 am-7 pm. Winter (October-April): Monday-Saturday 10 am-7 pm, Sunday 11 am-5 pm. Hours subject to change.
