Wind'SUP

Wind'SUP is a small board sports outfit founded in 2012 by Nicolas Droz in Saint-Blaise, at the eastern end of Lake Neuchâtel. The son and grandson of fishermen from the bay, he co-founded the neighbouring Ichtus sailing club in 1982 and coordinated it for twenty years. From April to October, Wind'SUP operates from a trailer by the water, next to the dinghy ramp in Saint-Blaise harbour, combining rental, private lessons and the sale of new and second-hand gear.

For wing, the trailer rents several wing sizes, boards and foils, individually or as a complete set, and gives private lessons. Windsurfing and windfoiling, pump foiling (prone), stand up paddle, canoe, kayak and small sailing dinghies are also available. Gear for sale includes wings, wing and pump foil boards and foils, wetsuits, harnesses and SUP accessories. Please note that Wind'SUP offers no kitesurfing rental or lessons and refers kiters to the SuriKite school in the same bay.

The bay of Saint-Blaise is shallow and sheltered, so you can always walk back along the shore. In summer, thermal breezes and the evening Joran often bring strong wind. Groups of 10 or more (schools, companies, associations) are welcome for SUP, canoe, kayak, windsurfing and dinghies, with one instructor for at most 12 participants; wing is not offered to groups. A life jacket is compulsory.
