Ekas Surf Resort

Ekas Surf Resort is a seaside hotel in the village of Ekas, in south-east Lombok, on a coast of white sand and well-known waves. It offers rooms and bungalows with alang-alang ceilings, a private surf villa, a pool, a restaurant and a wellness centre.

The property runs its own surf school: two-hour private or group lessons with an ISA-qualified instructor, equipment provided (board, leash, wax, boat depending on level), theory and a safety briefing. Guided surf outings and a six-night retreat combining surf, yoga and wellness are also offered.

The resort has a surf shop and a hire centre (surfboards, stand up paddle, canoes). Kitesurfing is taught by IKO instructors at Kaliantan beach, about fifteen minutes away by road (see the Ekas Kitesurf Center listing).
