Lombok Kitesurfing

Lombok Kitesurfing, also presented as Adi's Kitesurf Lombok, is a kitesurf school based in the Kaliantan lagoon, in south-east Lombok. It describes itself as the only locally owned kite school on the island. The spot offers flat water, steady wind and plenty of room to train.

The team says it has taught kitesurfing for more than seven years around the world, four of them in Lombok. Lessons are one-to-one (one student per instructor), equipment included, and follow three levels: discovery (theory, set-up, kite flying on the beach), body dragging and board starts, then independent riding. Any package can be extended to the next by paying only the difference.

The centre also rents gear (kite, board, harness) in two-hour sessions. Simple bungalows with private bathroom and breakfast are available on site, right at the kite beach.
