An ecolodge opened in 2016 at the southern tip of the Dakhla peninsula, on Lassarga beach, about twenty minutes' drive from town. Some twenty wooden bungalows on stilts and eight Saharan tents face the ocean, with a terrace or outdoor area, a wave view for most of them, a bathroom and dry toilets, and outdoor rails to store boards. The site runs on solar power, filters its grey water for irrigation and sources produce from local organic farming.
Stays are sold full board: morning, midday and evening buffets prepared by the chef — meat and fish tagines, barbecues, homemade pastries —, a beach bar, airport transfers to and from Dakhla and tourist taxes included. On site: a spa with massage cabins designed for board riders, a free yoga session every morning, a fitness room with a coach, table football, a trampoline, a skate park, beach volleyball and wifi. Babysitting is charged extra.
The lodge does not teach itself: lessons and rentals are run at the foot of the bungalows by its own water sports base, trading as Salt Water Elements, with a second stretch of water on the lagoon ten minutes away by shuttle. The lodge does run its own excursions — the White Dune, the Imili wetland, fishing, Dragon Island — and roaming downwind camps in kitesurfing, wingfoiling and SUP foiling, with professional supervision, 4×4 transfers and meals. Stays are also sold by the ION Club network under the name « OV Dakhla Lassarga ».
Prices taken from the website in October 2026, with no validity date and no season stated. The site does not say whether these amounts are per person or per unit; the ION Club network quotes 105 € per person per night in low season, full board and transfer included.
Open all year round. Check-in announced at 12:00, check-out at 15:00. The water sports base on site opens daily from 10:00 to 19:00.
Waves in front of the lodge from November to March, flat water from April to October.
