Base nautique et de plein air Jean Binard

The Jean Binard watersports and outdoor base is a municipal facility of the town of Gravelines, on the sea wall, run by the sports department. It offers courses, private lessons, equipment rental, municipal school programmes, discovery classes, corporate seminars and training.

Activities include sand yachting, catamaran (HC16, T12, fun boat), dinghy sailing (optimist, bug, ludic), windsurfing, kayak, outrigger canoe, stand up paddle and environmental fishing. The base also prepares for coastal and inland boating licences and instructor qualifications. Activities run as sessions, courses or weekends; sand yachting is not listed as a sport on LetsKite.

The base is on the Gravelines sea wall. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 12 pm and 1:30 pm to 5 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm, and is closed over the Christmas holidays. Bookings are made by phone on +33 3 28 65 20 31 or by email.
