Club Nautique de Pénestin

Club Nautique de Pénestin is a sailing club affiliated to the FFVoile, based at Poudrantais beach near the mouth of the Vilaine. It celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2026, which places its creation around 1966.

The offer includes year-round recreational sailing, rental, private lessons, courses during the Easter, summer and All Saints holidays, school sailing and group hosting. The supports mentioned are catamaran, windsurfing, stand up paddle, kayak, optimist and wingfoil. In autumn, the course programme covers funboat (ages 6-9), catamaran (from 10), windsurfing (from 11) and a level 3 course.

The club recently acquired Gong boards in 7'3, 6'9 and 6'6, X-Over V3 Atmo foils and four carbon booms for wingfoil initiation. It also trains instructors (CQP IV), with four new graduates mentioned for the 2026 season. An FFVoile licence and club membership are required for year-round sailing.

Reception off-season: Tuesday to Saturday, 9am-12pm.
Summer: Monday to Friday, 9am-12pm and 1:30pm-5:30pm; Saturday and Sunday, 2pm-5pm.
Closed from December to mid-February.
